Kajsa and Olle Nyman Art School is a newly opened school for children and young people  accommodation in Nacka.  Everyone, from first grade to high school age is welcome. The school makes no demands on work tests or grades, the important thing is interest and creative will! The teaching groups are divided according to age. The fact that our students have mixed experiences and backgrounds is an asset that expands our frame of reference. Art is a universal language that unites people!

Our education manager Gunnar Larsson is an artist and teacher at Konstfackskolan and through his teaching job has extensive experience of teaching different artistic techniques and ways of expression. The school's goal is to train the students to formulate themselves in drawing, painting and form in a fun way. It is just as important for us to impart basic knowledge as it is to capture the individual student's individual creative ideas and joy of expression. Hopefully, teaching at the school can be a first step for those who want to apply further in the subject areas art, design, crafts, illustration or architecture.

A strength of the place is that there is a large archive of Olle Nyman's art where other artists are also represented. We hope that this part of the activity can naturally inspire the students to gain new insights together through reflection and conversation.

The art school's teaching takes place in a painting studio that previously belonged to Olle Nyman. The studio is located on the ground floor and there is a ramp that can be used if needed.

The student does not need to bring anything other than appropriate work clothes that can withstand color stains. All work material is available at the school.

The art school Kajsa and Olle Nyman is a safe and happy place where we obviously have zero tolerance for all forms of abusive behavior.
